A digital notebook app for Windows. Write it. Find it. Hold it.
Write by hand on your Surface, find any word you wrote, and print the pages that matter as a real book.
Get it on the Microsoft StorePages made in Mementa.
Your tools at the tip of your pen.
Lasso your writing and hold the pen still, and it converts in place. Double-click your pen's side button to reach your tools, colors, undo and redo at the pen tip.
Find any word you wrote by hand.
Your handwriting is searchable, and so is the text inside your PDFs, comics and ebooks. Tap a result and the notebook opens on that page with your word highlighted, so your eye lands right on it.
How handwriting search worksSome books you just read. Others you write all over.
PDFs, comics and ebooks share the shelf with your notebooks. Freeze the book you are reading into a notebook you can write on.
Write in the book you are readingEvery sticker you love, finally in one place.
Drop in a sticker sheet and Mementa finds the stickers on it and lifts them off for you.
Explore the Sticker BookYou didn't make a file. You made a book.
Flip through the whole book as a bound spread, exactly the way it will arrive. Then order it softcover or hardcover, shipped to your door, one copy or a dozen.

Good to know.
How much does Mementa cost?
$4.99 through the Microsoft Store, paid once. You own it, every update included, and there is no subscription. If you acquired Mementa before the paid launch, you already own it and will never be asked to pay.
Is there a free trial?
Yes. The Microsoft Store offers a 7 day free trial. Your notebooks are saved on your own PC the whole time.
Does Mementa work with a stylus like the Surface Pen?
Yes. Mementa is made for the pen. Your pen writes, your finger pans and zooms, and a hand resting on the page never leaves a mark.
What do I need to run Mementa?
A Windows 11 PC, either ARM64 or x64 (Intel or AMD). A pen or touchscreen is lovely to have, but a mouse works too.
Can I order a printed book, and what does it cost?
Yes. Mementa prints any notebook on demand and delivers to 215 countries. Pick from eight sizes, hardcover or softcover, a matte or gloss cover, standard or premium paper, and black and white or color pages. Shipping is included in the price, which starts at $20 for a softcover and $34 for a hardcover in the US. Longer books, larger sizes, and some destinations cost more. Tax and any import duties are added on top, and you see the exact total before you pay, in your own currency where we support it.
Where are my notebooks stored, and can I take them with me?
On your own device, not on our servers. Export any notebook whenever you like as a PDF, PNG, JPG, CBZ, or EPUB, or as a portable Mementa notebook you can open on another PC.
Sticker artwork shown on this page is designed by Magnific and appears for illustration only. It is not included in the app.
