$4.99 once, and Mementa is yours. Every update included, and no subscription, ever. If you acquired Mementa before the paid launch, you already own it and will never be asked to pay. The Microsoft Store takes the payment, so refunds for the app go through Microsoft's refund policy.

Mementa installs from the Microsoft Store. Open the listing and choose Install. Because it's a verified Store app there's no setup file to run and no security warning to click through, and updates arrive automatically. Full requirements are in the FAQ.

Your notebooks and library live locally on your device, not in the cloud. Everything Mementa saves is in one folder on your PC, called Mementa, inside your Windows user folder (C:\Users\your name\Mementa). In the app, Settings shows it under Notebook folder, and the Open button takes you there. Updating, reinstalling or even uninstalling Mementa never touches it. To remove your notebooks as well, delete that folder after you uninstall. See Privacy for details.
